Galactic G Goonies Lines Contest (Full Video)

40 skaters, 3 benches, 2 lines, and only one winner. See all the runs and highlights on the official Goonies Lines Contest video.

Skateboarders from all across the state of Florida came to this pop up event for the 1st place cash prize. The contest was free to enter but for a limit of only forty skaters. Skaters from Tampa, Kissimmee, Deltona and all over Central Florida brought their bag of bench tricks.

Azalea Skatepark is a free outdoor skatepark covered with some shade but not protected from rain. Recently resurfaced and no helmet required, this skatepark is great for anyone. 3 benches of all sizes, 2quarter pipes and a multi level table top box and hip in the middle of the ramps.

Also at the park is free clean water fountains, dog park, basketball court and a playground for everyone.

The actual park name is Yukatan Park at 6400 Yucatan Dr, Orlando, FL 32807

The Goonies Skateboard Benches Contest Now Accepting 40 Free Entries

When: Noon Saturday November 18th

Where: Azalea Gardens Park - 6400 Yucatan Drive Orlando, FL 32807

Prize: 300 dollar cash prize for first 

Rules:

You get one pass down the benches and one pass back. 

Basically, skate across the park along the benches one way down and one way back.  

That's all you get to move on to the next round.

Best 2 lines on the Azalea benches going down and back is how you win!

Registration is free and ends at 11:00 am day of contest. All are encouraged to come out to spectate and partake in the product toss and to support your local Orlando skaters.

GetABoard Best Trick Skate Contest at Orlando Live Events

Orlando Live Events hosted GetABoard's free skateboard contest in Casselberry, Florida.
Orlando Live Events is the new rebranded name for the old Jai Alai arena. Recently painted and with a new marketing director, the event space was perfect for a skateboard competition.
The venue was great for spectators as there is stadium seating and big soft chairs and couches on the floor.

There were a few different obstacles for a few different Best Trick awards.  The ground was ultra smooth and made for a great Longest Powerslide contest to open the event.  On of our team skaters, Manny, took first place, powersliding the longest out of everyone in the building!!!

Manny also took 2nd place on an obstacle, taking home ton's of swag and getting to represent his sponsors.

Ashton Dohany Wins 1st at Mountain Dew Contest Series in Orlando

Mountain Dew held their first stop of their 2016 contest series in October at the new John Young Skatepark in south Orlando. There were a few different divisions including one for the bowl section in the back of the park, best trick, and street course.



We had a couple of team skaters enter the contest. Our big bowl and transition skateboarder, Ashton Dohany, took 1st place in the bowl contest category!!!
