Below is Marquitos, a young ripper on a skateboard from PR. He recently got a new Lockhart skateboard from our shop and sent us this photo. Thank you for supporting a fellow Puerto Rican and Professional Skateboarder, Carlos Leon, with you purchase of that board. He is from Isabella. Carlos is our team manager and local skateboard guru. Hopefully you two meet soon! That skatepark looks super fun and we hope you enjoy your skateboard!
Thanks to the support of our locals and family around the US, we have sold out the two batches of this PR/Carlos Leon skateboards. We hope everyone is enjoying them like Marquitos here.
We found some information from Google on that skatepark, so if you are headed out to the island, make sure to stop by this park. Click on photo for their website.
We have released a new graphic tee representing Orlando Skateboarding with a purple and yellow one eyed lion and the broken(focused) skateboard graphic we use. Our team loves to support skateboarding in Florida with the social media hashtag's #orlandoskateboarding and #floridaskateboarding.
Pick your favorite of the two colored tee's and represent a local Orlando business that supports healthy activities like skateboarding.
Skateboarding is our passion. No matter what happens in life, we will always skateboard and encourage others to do the same. It is a healthy activity that provides exercise, mental determination and a willingness to get off the couch and do something healthy. Your mental health is very important and skateboarders tend to stay off the streets of crime because of the outlet that skateboarding provides to them.
We at Galactic G Skateshop and RedBull Records see this video below and are reminded that life is too short to just sit around and do nothing. Get out there and skateboard! No Excuses!
Directed by Ravi Dhar with Director of Photography Russell Houghten, ‘Passion’ follows disabled skater Og De Souza in his native Recife, Brazil.

"We are an organization that is based in the Central Florida area that is taking a stand against opiates and hard drugs in the community. Nowadays kids and young adults are getting exposed to harder drugs and prescription medications younger and younger but no one is there to spread the message. Here at MileHigh we aim to refresh the drug awareness scene while also giving back to the community and educating the young."
Go Skate Day is an world recognized "holiday" for skateboarders that is on June 21st every year. Many cities small and large across the globe lift the ban on skateboarding within the city limits. Masses of skaters take the streets, large events and a culture gets together to celebrate this healthy activity that we call skateboarding.
Thanks to everyone who came out to to a video release party at the shop! Nothing but good vibes!!
Thanks to GetABoard Foundation for hosting the biggest Go Skate Day bash at Howard Middle School to date!

Team rider Ashton Dohany took a trip out to Salt Lake City, Utah over winter break to do some skateboarding and snowboarding. Looks like he found a sick little indoor spot to skate with some homies.
Central Florida filmer and pro skateboarder, Carlos Leon, is set to release another local skateboarding video with grassroots skaters and new kids throwing hammers.
Marketing agency owner and local photographer, Chase Gregory, drove up to Casselberry to film and shoot Carlos, Greg Vining and friends. Here is what Chase captured one evening before the sun went down.

We have recently added a new member to the G family, Coco Torres!!
Coco has been putting in work around Orlando and team manager, Carlos Leon has decided to add Coco to the team in 2017.
Mr. Torres has been killing it at local contests and is a force to be reckoned with. His style brings originality to the team and offers something no one else has. He is a determined skater that will show great skateboarding in the coming years through the skateshops social media. Stay tuned for more content coming from Coco Torres.
Filmed and edited by Carlos, see a few clips from Coco at Azalea Skatepark.
4on4&extra was a video contest series put on by skateboard local, Carlos Leon.
Carlos put together a video contest series of local skaters doing 4 hard tricks followed by a bonus trick. 14 skaters laid it down for Orlando skateboarding and our shop hosted the awards event.
This contest series was put on to put the skateboard community together in a grassroots way. Carlos looked for people that have the skills, yet were not getting the recognition they deserved. He wanted to publish not only Galactic G team riders, but kids that were out there in Orlando putting in work.
The photo's below are a collection of the Award Ceremony for the 4on4&extra video series.
We want to thank everyone who came out to support skateboarding in Orlando, and let's keep pushing this healthy sport.
